What Is Pickleball?
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in North America and here’s why!
- Pickleball is ideal for all skill levels and ages
- Pickleball is a very social activity
- Playing pickleball is great exercise for your mind and body. Pickleball and racquet sports could extend your life!
- Can play indoors and outdoors
- Inexpensive and requires minimal equipment and gear
- A lower impact sport
- Easy to learn, challenging to master
How to play:
Pickleball is played on a badminton size court with the net lowered to the ground, similar to tennis. In doubles, 4 people play on a court at once. The paddles (not racquet) look like an oversized ping pong paddle. Because of it’s strategic nature, it is a sport that young and old, and all genders can play together.
Drop-ins are also welcome! Please clontact Dr. Erin Hasinoff by cell: 778-773-4052 or e-mail: erin_hasinoff@yahoo.ca for any questions or last minute notifications.
