With great regret, we are announcing the closure of the Mission Maternity Clinic. Although we will continue to care for our current patients until the end of their pregnancy and the first 6 weeks of their post-partum period, as of April 1, 2022 we will no longer be able to accept patients with due dates after August 31, 2022.

To our patients past and present, we want you to know it has been an absolute privilege to work alongside Mission's growing families throughout their pregnancy journeys these past years, and this is not a decision that has been taken lightly. However, unfortunately due to physician supply issues (changing career trajectories, relocations, and recruitment problems), we are no longer able to sustain the clinic.

If you are newly pregnant with a due date after August 31, please see the attached link with alternative care providers. There are several midwifery groups both in Mission and Abbotsford, and in Abbotsford is the Abbotsford Maternity Group as well as the new Fraser Birth Collaborative, plus all of the local Obstetricians provide primary maternity care with a referral from a doctor.
