What services are provided?

Mission Mental Health and Substance Use Centre offers a range of services to support people experiencing mental illness and substance use problems in the community.

 

Rapid Access Clinic (RAC)

The Rapid Access Clinic (RAC) provides quick access to a consultation with a psychiatrist and nurse with recommendations for your treatment, medications, and/or diagnoses.

Who can access the RAC?

  • Individuals who have mild to moderate mental health conditions (e.g. depression or anxiety).

  • Aged 19 years or older.

  • No previous appointments with the Rapid Access Clinic or other psychiatrist (e.g. hospital or community) in the past six months.
  • Contact your family doctor or nurse practitioner so they can determine if this is the right service for you.

 

Rapid Access to Addiction Clinic (RAAC)

The Rapid Access to Addiction Care Clinic (RAAC) provides quick access to clinics and services for patients experiencing substance use concerns.

Who can access the RAAC?

  • Any individual can self-refer by walking in to any RAAC clinic.

  • Appointments are also available and people may re-refer/re-access the service at any time. 

  • No referral required.
