The Mission in Motion Mobile Youth Clinic is a free, confidential, and welcoming health clinic designed specifically for youth. This mobile service offers medical care, mental health support, and other essential resources tailored to young peopleβ€”all without the need for an appointment.

Services Offered

  • Physical Health: Support for general health concerns or feeling unwell.

  • Mental Health: Assistance with stress, anxiety, or a listening ear when you need someone to talk to.

  • Sexual Health and Birth Control: Confidential discussions and services in a judgment-free environment.

Mental Health and Substance Use Services

What services are provided?

Mission Mental Health and Substance Use Centre offers a range of services to support people experiencing mental illness and substance use problems in the community.

 

Rapid Access Clinic (RAC)

The Rapid Access Clinic (RAC) provides quick access to a consultation with a psychiatrist and nurse with recommendations for your treatment, medications, and/or diagnoses.

Who can access the RAC?
  • Individuals who have mild to moderate mental health conditions (e.g. depression or anxiety).

  • Aged 19 years or older.

  • No previous appointments with the Rapid Access Clinic or other psychiatrist (e.g. hospital or community) in the past six months.
  • Contact your family doctor or nurse practitioner so they can determine if this is the right service for you.

 

Rapid Access to Addiction Clinic (RAAC)

The Rapid Access to Addiction Care Clinic (RAAC) provides quick access to clinics and services for patients experiencing substance use concerns.

Who can access the RAAC?
  • Any individual can self-refer by walking in to any RAAC clinic.

  • Appointments are also available and people may re-refer/re-access the service at any time. 

  • No referral required.

Long-term care homes provide 24-hour professional support in a safe and home-like environment for individuals who can no longer live independently due to complex medical needs, dementia, or physical limitations. These homes offer medical care, personal support, and recreational programs to enhance residents' quality of life.

The Residence in Mission

The Residence in Mission is a three-story long-term care home providing specialized care for seniors with complex needs, dementia, and individuals with acquired brain injuries. It offers 200 publicly subsidized beds and services such as dementia care, peritoneal dialysis, bariatric care, behavioral transition support, and respite care. Residents live in a secure environment with furnished rooms, social and recreational programs, and space for personal belongings.
