After growing up in Greater Vancouver and graduating from UBC, I completed my family medicine residency in Northern Ontario. I then spent several years doing locums throughout every corner of BC and the NWT. After starting a family 13 years ago, I moved to Fernie and started practicing in Elkford which I have enjoyed tremendously. I joined the EKDFP board to try to gain a better understanding of health policy decision making in our region, in order to become a better advocate for my community and it's been a steep, but very valuable learning curve. I'm often humbled and impressed by the dedication and commitment of EK physicians to provide excellent patient care in our region.
