The Concept:
The Grove Health and Wellness will be a primary health care clinic with a focus on inter-professional collaboration and evidence-based, patient-centred care. Our goal is to build a primary care team that will work collaboratively together and not just separately in the same space.
You would be joining 3 established chiropractors and potentially other allied professionals (physiotherapist, athletic therapist, massage therapist, etc). whose goal is to provide comprehensive care for musculoskeletal disorders in a collaborative setting. The final make-up of the team will depend on available space and will be determined closer to the start-up date.
The Building:
We are building a 4500 square foot clinic which will contain 6 chiropractic treatment rooms and 6 medical treatment rooms. We are also planning for private MD offices, a nurse’s station, a dedicated staff lounge and plenty of room for MOAs and reception staff. We envision 2 MDs working at any given time, so there is the potential for part-time practice opportunities as well.
The Opportunity:
We estimate that construction will begin in October and be finished in the spring/summer of 2018. If you get involved during the construction period, you can have input into how you want the MD rooms finished and equipped. The clinic will be fully finished with basic furniture included, you would only need your own medical equipment/supplies to get underway. You will be required to hire your own staff/nurses and run your own clinic, but significant cost-sharing opportunities exist around shared staff, EMR, supplies, equipment etc. We are open to working with you to help you get underway.
