Comox Medical is located in the heart of the beautiful seaside town of Comox. It is a busy full-service family practice with 9 physicians. We have a Registered Nurses, a Licensed Practical Nurse, and experienced Medical Office Assistants available to support our practices. There are 12 clinic rooms, 2 for each physician.

 Posting Description: 

Part-time practice, 4 half days a week. (Tuesday to Friday).
No weekend on call and no stat coverage needed.
Family practice, no inpatient hospital patients.
Long-Term Care patients = 9
Clinic time: Tues 8am-1pm, Wed 1-5pm, Thurs 5-8pm, Fri 8am-1pm.
Avg number of patients per day = 15

General clinic hours: Mo-Fri 8-8 and Saturdays 11-2.
WIFI, dedicated physician computer, free parking, and clinic orientation available

Kootenay Boundary introduces new tools for chronic pain patients and healthcare providers

Trail Times: Kootenay Boundary Division of Family Practice announced that it has launched a new set of tools to support patients living with chronic pain. Patients and their healthcare providers can now easily access information on referrals, services, education, self-management support, and more. These have been developed as part of the Kootenay Boundary Shared Care Chronic Pain Project, with the input and guidance of local physicians, allied health care practitioners, and patient partners living with chronic pain.
