Clinical Counselling
PCN Clinical Counsellors can offer short-term one-on-one counselling for individuals with mild to moderate mental health concerns. Individuals can be assisted to navigate and access other mental health and community/social service supports. Services can be provided in-person or virtually depending on individual needs.
Examples of areas that a PCN Clinical Counsellor can support include:
- Personal relationships
- Substance use
- Mental health
- Coping strategies
- Complex family dynamics
- Death and bereavement
- Safety/risk
- Anxiety/depression
- Trauma or a traumatic event
- Adjustments and transitions
Eligibility:
- Individuals must be referred by their family physician or nurse practitioner
- 18 years of age or older
