The initiative is developing a pathway for transgender-specific health care. It will support Members and other health professionals by providing options for involvement depending on their level of interest and knowledge, ranging from making effective referrals for their patients to continued co-management of patients with specialists. This initiative will include conversations with GPs, specialists, and community orgs. and patients to document this pathway, and a CME event on providing transgender-specific health care.
