HealthLink BC holds the new waiting list: the Health Connect Registry

Patients previously on the Care Connector waitlist will be seamlessly transferred to the Health Connect Registry, maintaining the original order of their placement.

If you are looking for a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner, CLICK HERE to register on the Health Connect Registry.

Registration takes less than 5 minutes. You need to provide:

• Personal Health Number (PHN), found on your BC Services Card
• Home address
• Email address and phone number

 

If you require assistance in registering, you may call 811.

Those who are deaf or hard of hearing can call 7-1-1 or contact HealthLink BC8-1-1using Video Relay Services (VRS), or Teletypewriter (TTY).Visit Video Relay Services to sign up and give them the number 604-215-5101 to call HealthLink BC on your behalf.

VRS provides sign language interpretation. It is free for registered deaf, hard of hearing or speech-impaired Canadians who use sign language. VRS is available when making telephone calls using Internet and cell-phone technology.

When you register, you are added to a list of people in need of a primary care provider in your community. Family doctors and nurse practitioners will use the list when they are available to accept new patients.
