EK CPD

The EK CPD Steering Committee is an EK Division of Family Practice regional initiative. Regional CME is funded by pooling a percentage of community CME funds to host four regional events/initiatives. The four regional events are determined by the EK CPD Steering Committee. The EK CPD Steering Committee consists of local family physician and specialist CME leads from East Kootenay communities, as well as EK Division staff. The EK CPD offers:

  • Monthly Happy Hour and Learn session: Local specialists providing high quality CME via Zoom. A great way to get to know your local East Kootenay specialists
  • Monthly Newsletter: A summary of what is happening locally, regionally, and provincially
  • Annual EK CME Day: A UBC accredited event held at Copper Point Resort in Invermere. A family friendly in-person weekend of learning and networking. Local East Kootenay physician speakers.
  • Winter Conference: A focused conference held during the winter months in Kimberley.

EK Med Net
