Dr. Shaun Davis was born and raised south of Calgary.   Growing up in a rural community fostered a love for the outdoors at a young age. This love of outdoor activities has stayed with Dr. Davis to his adulthood. 

Dr. Davis moved to Kamloops for his residency program. He had planned to return to Alberta at the completion of this program; however the access to skiing, soccer, climbing, camping, fishing, boating, mountain biking and the other amazing things found around Kamloops inspired him to stay. 

His passion for Obstetrics stems from his belief in the idea of a family doctor being there to care for patients from birth through their entire life.  He enjoys listening to patients and helping to guide them through the exciting experience of pregnancy and birth.

His current practice outside of Obstetrics includes locums in and around Kamloops in family medicine and rural emergency medicine.  At present he does not have his own practice and is instead focused on providing relief to the hard working family doctors already in the community.
