Dr. Kate Elliott - Vice Chair

Kate is a member of the Metis Nation of Greater Victoria.  She is in her first year of residency with UBC’s Indigenous Health Family Medicine Residency training program based out of the Cool-Aid Clinic in Victoria.  Kate obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Victoria.  Prior to leaving for medical training in Saskatoon, she had eight years of extensive experience working with Indigenous communities on Vancouver Island which strengthened her policy and leadership skill set.
