Katherine Brown - Interim Regional Manager, Interior Region

Katherine joined the Division in 2017 as the Chapter Coordinator for the Revelstoke Chapter and was the Interim Interior Regional Manager covering a maternity leave back in 2020.  In 2021, Katherine has worked as a PCN Liaison with the Primary Care Transformation team at Doctors of BC supporting the Family Practice Services Committee and brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her time working closely with other Divisions. She has recently returned to the Division as the Interim Interior Regional Manager supporting the many communities in the region to enhance rural primary care for both patient and providers.  Katherine is passionate about building strong collaborative relationships within the complex primary system to support successful outcomes.  She has over 15 years’ experience in project management and proposal writing having also worked as a project manager with the Rural Coordination Centre of BC RSON program and the Queen Victoria Hospital MSA. She is currently completing her Master’s in Leadership - Health from Royal Roads University.

Katherine lives with her partner, two children and Goldendoodle in Revelstoke where she loves to spend her free time with family, trail running, or mountain biking.
