The Richmond Division of Family Practice offers a unique one-stop shop for both locums and GP members who are looking for employment in the area. Services we provide include:

  1. Providing a central point of contact for locums to find work and GP members to find practice coverage.
  2. Facilitating the matching of schedules and practice preferences to that of our 200 GP members who practice in Richmond.
  3. Helping with resources such as contract templates, an orientation checklist, and list of specialty and community resources for physicians new to Richmond.
  4. Managing an up-to-date list of locum opportunities on the Richmond Division and Society of General Practitioners of BC website to assist member GPs in locating locum support.

A 3-GP group practice seeking a locum. Located in Richmond city centre, this is a busy full service family practice with excellent office staff and Oscar EMR. Great access to restaurants, Richmond Centre and transits. Free parking.

Part of the Westminster Neighbourhood Network, a network of GPs supported by multiple allied health resources, such as a psychiatrist and a geriatrician in a shared care approach.

July 30 - August 15, 2021

Full service family practice seeking coverage, no hospital or nursing home care. Med Access EMR.

Solo practice across the road from Richmond hospital,  parking included.

This is a well-established practice with Intrahealth EMR, excellent resources and superb staff. It is supported by a strong and large administrative team and in-clinic RNs.

This group practice is also well supported by its Primary Care Network and Divisions of Family Practice with clinical, practice, community, and other resources.

This practice is part of the Steveston Neighbourhood Network, a group of 10 GPs located in the same building that have not brought in a call group for afterhours care.

Located in the heart of beautiful Steveston Village with great access to shops, restaurants and Fisherman’s Wharf.

This is a well-managed full-service family practice located in Richmond Oval area. Five supportive family physicians and a nurse practitioner are practicing full time in the clinic with efficient and friendly MOAs.

This group practice is supported by a strong administrative team, great technology, and team-based care to provide flexibility and coverage. EMR used: OSCAR.

This is a Locum to Permanent opportunity. One of the family physicians is looking to reduce hours and is seeking a candidate to work one day a week on a regular basis with room to build up a patient panel. This position offers much work flexibility and also has the opportunity to become permanent.

Located in a high-density residential area with great access to restaurants, shopping malls and parking
