We're Under Construction!

Please excuse our appearance while we work to update our website. Our website will remain live throughout the updates and we appreciate your understanding as we work to improve your online experience.

The Central Interior Rural Division of Family Practice brings together a dedicated group of family physicians and nurse practitioners from the communities of 100 Mile House, Williams Lake and Tatla Lake, providing service to the surrounding communities in the Cariboo-Chilcotin. We operate as a Community Service Cooperative and are part of a province-wide initiative working alongside healthcare partners to improve and strengthen primary care in B.C.

Together with our members, we work to make the CIRD known as a sought-after region to practice family medicine, improve work-life balance for primary care providers, advocate for equitable rural health services, and design locally relevant programs that improve access to quality primary care in the Cariboo-Chilcotin.

Nurse in Practice (NinP) Program launches.

The FPSC and Ministry of Health's Nurse in Practice program is designed to expand team-based primary care by integrating more nurses into family practice and was a key deliverable of the PCN Refresh. Learn more about the program and application process.
