Project Coordinator

As a project coordinator, Amelia works with the Health Care Initiatives team to deliver projects related to the Long-Term Care Initiative, Shared Care, and other special projects. Amelia holds a Master’s of Public Health and is passionate about improving the health of vulnerable populations through community collaboration, innovation, and evidence.

Previously, Amelia worked with the Vancouver Island Health Authority on a project to identify community members at risk of hospitalization, and the Vulnerable Individuals in Primary Care Research Lab on a project to adapt health programming to a rural and remote Indigenous community. 

In addition to her work with the Division, Amelia works as a homelessness outreach case manager on the Downtown Eastside.
