Communications & Strategies
Emily is a Project Coordinator for the Division, responsible for Communications and Strategies, as well as digital content. This entails building websites for clinics in our region that do not currently have one, maintaining the Fraser Northwest Division website, and maintaining the Pathways Community Services Website for the Fraser Northwest region. Emily also supports our Project and Program managers by creating strategic communications plans to disseminate information as required for both the public (patients) and our division members (family physicians). Emily supports members by creating clinic websites, helping physicians incorporate telehealth in their practice and updating the Division portal with important updates that affect daily practice. She is a strong proponent of utilizing web and technology tools to optimize clinic workflows and improve patient and provider satisfaction, especially through the use of online form integrations.
Emily is also a full-time student studying Marketing Management working towards her BBA at KPU, which she aims to have completed in December 2021. She spends much of her spare time studying, practicing yoga, reading, acrylic painting, and volunteering in the community. Emily returned from a semester studying abroad in Scotland in the Spring of 2018 and has been working with the Division ever since.
