Tick Tock Campaign
|Information for Doctors|
Tick Tock Find Us A Doc is a physician recruitment campaign designed to involve the residents of the region in physician recruitment. This campaign is one component of a multi-pronged approach to the CIRD’s recruitment and retention efforts, aimed at improving access to care for the residents of the region.
The campaign demonstrates the sense of community which is prominent in the region and one of the factors that has the greatest impact on physician recruitment. This campaign is a proactive approach to physician recruitment.
The campaign asks residents of BC to provide the CIRD with leads which could result in a new full-time physicians moving to the area. The goal is to build the CIRD’s list of potential physicians to work with now and in the future as it is recognized that there will be a steady flow of retiring physicians in the next 5-10 years.
Ways to Play
Contest overview :
There are three ways to win with the Tick Tock Find Us a Doc Regional Recruitment Campaign Contest (the “Contest”).
The first is to play along!
Give us a solid referral during the Contest Period by telling us about anyone you know who is ready to or preparing to practice family medicine in British Columbia. This could be a medical resident, or an existing doctor who may be interested in relocating to our area. If you give us a qualified lead, we will put your name in the grand prize draw.
If you cannot provide a qualified lead, you can still play along. In order to do this, you need to follow us on www.facebook.com/ticktockfindusadoc We will provide regular updates and ask our followers to participate in contest activities to help promote this Recruitment Campaign. This might be sharing an update with your Facebook friends, or sharing our physician recruitment videos. If you participate in these contest activities, your name will go in a draw specific to the contest activity and will, in addition, be entered in the grand-prize draw.
All campaign prizes are funded through sponsorships from local individuals and businesses. The value of the grand-prize will depend on sponsorship levels but will be valued at approximately $2,000 - $4,000. The grand-prize draw will occur one week after the end of the Contest.
The second way to win
If you provide us with a qualified lead which results in an offer to practice medicine in the Central Interior Rural Division (the “CIRD”) within one year of the end of the Contest, you will be directly awarded a prize package. The value of the prize packages will depend on the number of awards and the total value of sponsorship participation. The prizes will range in value from $100 - $4,000 (approx. depending on number of prizes awarded). Direct awards will be made one year after the end of the Contest, even if a doctor is offered a position sooner. If a doctor is offered a position after December 31, 2017, no award will be issued. If no direct awards are issued, the prize money will be used by the CIRD to further recruitment efforts.
The third way to win
Is to simply play along with our Facebook activities where we will be giving away regular prizes, ranging in value from $20 - $100.
Can you win all three ways?! You sure can!
